Kevin Bacon signs up for new X-men

It has been confirmed today that Kevin Bacon has officially signed up to play a mysterious villain in X-Men: First Class. The studio seems to be keeping his role tightlyunder wraps for the time being while announcing Jennifer Lawrence will play the role of Mystique.
The team will join a cast which already includes Michael Fassbender and James MacAvoy as Magneto and Professor X. The movie has not yet started filming but the studio is set for a June 2011 release.

Oh.. Im very pleased! I like Kevin Bacon, he is such a great actor, very talented yet such a low key person.. Kevin Bacon is one of the very few actors/entertainers that has been able to remain in the spotlight without any bad publicity, plus he has been with his wife Kyra Sedwick for over 20 years, how many other celebrities have been able to do that? Kevin Bacon has earned my respect as an actor and as an individual. I can't wait to see him play this new role…
